This game consists of both exploration and using tools and objects to solve puzzles. ![]() In addition to the game, there is a team-based multiplayer sports mode called Echo Arena, which was also released as a stand-alone game. The game, set aboard a space station orbiting Saturn, allows players to move in a zero-gravity zone by grabbing and pushing off of the environment. A sequel, Lone Echo II, was announced in 2018 and is set for release in 2021. It was published for Microsoft Windows on July 20, 2017, and it is currently available on Epic Games. I never bought Lone Echo because I thought it was kind of expensive, and I've always been a bit wary getting Rift titles in case Oculus breaks Revive and I can no longer play any of them.Lone Echo is a single-player virtual reality narrative adventure game developed by Ready At Dawn, and published by Oculus Studios. It went on sale for 36% off and I had Index controllers on the way so I thought why not. It’s been more than four years since the release of the lauded Lone Echo, but its sequel is finally just around the corner. Moving around the ship, checking things out, talking with Olivia. When you grab stuff it does it in a realistic way with the fingers. If you grab say a switch and move it, but you're not holding onto the ship or anything with your other hand, it will move your body and you may not even be able to pull the switch. Pretty sure I'm almost done it now but I've loved every minute of it.īuy it if you haven't. These are the kinds of games that make me want to get into game development. But I know nothing and it's very daunting. They uncover that the biomass they encountered in Lone Echo has evolved into a mobile form called "ticks" that are attracted to energy sources. Liv and Jack must solve the mystery of this future space station if they want to find their way home. Originally planned for launch on august 24, 2021, Ready At Dawn has delayed its VR shooter Lone Echo II until later this year. It was heartwarming to see the outpouring of love and excitement last month when we announced the Lone Echo II launch date. Like many game studios over the past couple of years, our team has tackled new obstacles in development, and has needed to be inventive and resourceful to reach this point. We have been working hard to deliver the very best experience possible and we are eager to have you join Liv and Jack in their adventures once again. However, as we get closer to launch day, it has become clear that we needed a bit more time to polish and reach our desired quality level. As such, Lone Echo II’s launch date will be moved to later this year. The decision to delay a game is always a tough one, but we believe you all deserve to experience the very best we can deliver.
